As a local theater, small business, and active member of Tucson business community, we offer a variety of workshops, shows, and coaching that can all be tailored to your needs. What Can Improv do for you?
Group Training, Team building and Development
We focus on team building and communication workshops for businesses, non-profit organizations, campaigns, schools, and educational or social groups. We translate the basic skills applied to improvisational performance to boost team building, problem solving, public speaking, listening, collaboration and/or idea generating. Our trained facilitators create a fun and engaging atmosphere where your team members can learn on their feet!
INDIVIDUAL Development Classes
We have a rotating schedule of applied improv classes that anyone can sign up for. These include everything from leadership development workshops, how to better run meetings (online and off), public speaking, conflict management, and many more. Learn new skills in a fun safe environment and keep your professional development local.
Private Shows
Hire TIM for all your corporate and private event needs. We perform the comedy for your Fundraising Event, Office Party, Birthday, Wedding, etc. We can perform private events at our theater or at other locations around Tucson.
Coaching
Meeting with a coach regularly can help you get your creative project over the finish line, or take your leadership development to the next level. Not sure where to start, or have a fully formed idea utilize Justin to get your creative or comedy projects a kickstart in their development. About Justin
Justin is the Owner and Executive Producer of Tucson Improv Movement, which has been in existence since 2012. He oversees all aspects of the business, regularly teaches and coaches workshops in addition to performing long and short form improv. Justin has performed all over the country at numerous festivals including Impride, The Del Close Marathon, and Phoenix Improv Festival. He’s grown TIM’s comedy training program and now has a company of 70+ members with 500+ graduates. Additionally, Justin has worked in large public universities for over ten years. In various roles with Residence Life, he oversaw student groups, supervised professional staff members, managed hiring processes, and was in charge of managing training and development for 500+ students and staff annually. Justin currently works for Greater Tucson Leadership managing their programs and leadership curriculum development. With a strong foundation in logistics and managing groups, coupled with his comedy background, he’s the perfect fit for your group training and development needs.
