Want to try improv? You can!!! We do an open jam for anyone that wants to get on stage and do some improv, can join us on the stage.
The show is free so come check it out!
Our goal for the jam is to make this a fun inclusive space to practice improv skills with other performers. While we cannot control what happens, we set these guidelines to create a positive environment to improvise.
We ask that all participants follow these rules:
Please make sure your content is inclusive and respectful. Racism, sexisim, heterosexism, sexual content, curse words, etc. will not be tolerated.
Do not touch other performers besides tapping shoulders to initiate a tag out.
If at any time someone on the stage, in the scene, or in the audience AKA anyone in the theater feels uncomfortable with the content on the stage they can say "curtains" which will initiate a no questions asked wipe of the current scene and a restart with a new scene.
Violating these rules can result in a person being removed from the jam, and banned from participating in future jams at the Tucson Improv Movement. If you have any questions or concerns, please talk directly to the jam host or the Executive Producer.
