In the immortal words of Olivia Newton John, “Let’s Get Physical!” In this class, we’ll focus on getting you out of your “head” and into your body. Believable object work on stage enriches scenes and makes them much more interesting to watch. Using techniques as old as mime, we’ll practice accuracy and precision in object work. But physicality doesn’t end there! We’ll also work on expressing and communicating thoughts, feelings and ideas without sound. We can inform our audiences with more than just our words.
